It gives valuable context to your business, gives into industry trends, and helps analyze your indicators with the competitors. Measuring the work you do, planning ahead and setting meaningful goals is a good way to showcase your site.
For activating Benchmarking in Google Analytics
Log in to our Google Analytics account.
Then go to Admin then > Account Settings.
Scroll down and ensure that the “Benchmarking” box is ticked. Click “Save.”
To check the benchmarking tool in Google Analytics follow the steps

Benchmarking means you supported your own performance. As an example, you will determine benchmark scrutiny knowledge from previous years or previous quarters.
To make forecasts, keep several things in mind, such as major changes to your promotion and customer acquisition strategy, changes in investment, and the ultimate basic amount of corporate executive data.
For this, you should select the Acquisition section within the News tab, then select the head of All Traffic> Channels and Calendar Selector. Select the date of this year and tick one within the checkbox to “compare” and select “Previous Year”. Click “Apply”.
